The Delta State Governor-elect has received a letter of expectations from a concerned citizen, Comrade DCN OGAGA DARLINGTON OSSAI, FCGE, congratulating him on his victory at the polls and calling his attention to the high expectations from his office.
In the letter, Comrade DCN OGAGA DARLINGTON OSSAI highlights the need for transparency in budget presentation and execution, visible and tangible development that will be widespread across the state, internally generating revenue-underpinned projects, salary, pension, and gratuity payment, executing the recommendations of the End SARS judicial panel report, renewed trust in his party, and competence/moderation in appointments.
Comrade DCN OGAGA DARLINGTON OSSAI notes that the Governor-elect’s victory was as a result of his Street Credibility mantra and that he will be inheriting a government that performed below the expectation of the state. He urges the Governor-elect not to be distracted by the excitement or celebration, but to focus on proving himself better than his predecessor.
The concerned citizen, who identifies as a social commentator, political analyst/observer, human rights activist, peace advocate, kids teens parenting coach, and author, vows to continually engage the Governor-elect’s office for accountability, transparency, and distributive justice.
The Governor-elect has not yet responded publicly to the letter of expectations. However, it is expected that he will take into consideration the concerns raised by Comrade DCN OGAGA DARLINGTON OSSAI as he prepares to take office.
