Ughievwen Grassroot Political Vanguard has commended a former ward chairman and PDP Chieftain in Jeremi, Hon David Akowien aka Akos for contributing to the victory of Delta State Governor-Elect Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
In a congratulatory message to the Governor-elect, the group said the victory of PDP in the state won’t be possible without Deltans.
The group noted Akos in his capacity was able to mobilise thousands of votes for the PDP in Ughelli South.
While commending Akos for standing tall for the PDP, they noted that the efforts of Akos added more impact to the PDP victory in Delta State.
“The Victory of PDP in the state is worth celebrating and the people of Delta State must be commended for electing Oborevwori as Governor.
We can’t appreciate others without not mentioning Akos who came out to ensure the PDP get thousand of votes in Ughelli South especially Ughievwen Kingdom.
His efforts are known to us and that is why we are here to appreciate him for his contribution towards the PDP Victory.”
In his response, Akos stated that it is time for the Ughievwen Kingdom to see the light and that Oborevwori’s government will bring about mass development of the Ughievwen Kingdom and Delta state at large. He thanked the leadership of the Ughievwen Grassroot Political Vanguard for their continuous support.
